Please join us for a celebration at the MSRBA Banquet!
In 2009 we moved the banquet to the University Club of MSU which is connected to the Candlewood Suites (our host hotel) at 3435 Forest Road in Lansing . The attendance of 205 and the banquet itself was an outstanding success. Because we expect even higher attendance this year, the banquet will be held in the main dining room of the University Club which will allow even more members to attend and also offer an increased wait staff. Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 th with the meal being served at 7:00 p.m. A plated dinner will be served as follows:
• House Tossed Salad with choice of Ranch Dressing or Raspberry Vinaigrette
• Bakery Fresh Dinner Rolls with Butter
• Chicken Saltimbocca – Sautéed Breast of Chicken topped with Proscuitto Ham, Sage, & Fontina Cheese, Veloute Sauce
• Honey Glazed Carrots
• Garlic Mashed Potatoes
• Beverage: Coffee, Tea, Milk, or Soft Drink
• Tuxedo Torte – Marble Cake with Layer of White & Milk Chocolate Mousse
A youth plate (11 and under) will be offered as follows:
• Fruit Cup
• Bakery Fresh Dinner Rolls with Butter
• Chicken Strips
• Macaroni & Cheese
• Broccoli & Baby Carrots
• Beverage: Milk or Soft Drink
• Tuxedo Torte – Marble Cake with Layer of White & Milk Chocolate Mousse
Cost is $18.00 for the adults (12 and over) and $12.00 for the youth (11 and under), no refunds or “doggie bags”. There will be door prizes and giveaway prizes. Reservations must be received by February 22 nd ; there will be no tickets available for purchase after the deadline. Many people were disappointed when they attempted to purchase banquet tickets at the rabbit show and found there were none available, please plan ahead to avoid missing a great event. Tickets will be available for pickup at the Michigan Dutch Rabbit Club Raffle table between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 6 th , 2010.
